The Weekend Is Over and DONE

My weekend went like this: Unexpected.  Great.  Awesome.  Not so good.  Crappy.  Terrible.

Several friends from high school came in town last week so the weekend started off great because I spent time with them.  I wasn’t expecting to see anyone until maybe Saturday, but ended up going out both Thursday and Friday nights.   That was a lot of fun.  I enjoyed going out and having a little fun – it seems like I normally never do.  I felt like a normal 22 year old for a change.

Then because of all the wonderful fun I felt sleepy/hungover for almost an entire day.  That wasn’t super fun.  I really needed to catch up on my sleep after last week, with multiple nights of not sleeping enough, but it was no fun to sleep away a day.  Being lazy doesn’t feel good to me anymore.  I felt like I should have fought through the haze and gone to workout or walk or something.

And to top off the weekend, it ended with the guy I like calling me to talk about his ex girlfriend and what I know about her (I know a lot of people that know her).  Yeah, he called just to talk about her.  Thanks for asking about me and my weekend!  Ha.  From what I have seen and heard from him recently he is pretty much still in love with her. Which makes me want to distance myself from him completely.  Honestly, I am glad I found out now so I don’t have to go further down that road and end up getting hurt or inviting a lot of unwanted drama into my life.

The FOOD/EXERCISE part of my weekend went like this:  eat, eat, eat, and do nothing active.  Weekends are normally the worst time for me anyway.  And holiday weekends are the absolute worst.  Throw some friends and parties in there and you have a terrible situation.  I also missed my first Weight Watchers meeting.  Oops.  I will have to find another one to go to soon so I don’t get off track.

Hey girl! I hear you about the holiday weekends – they certainly do make food a challenge! It is Monday and the start of a new week and you can get back on track!

Glad you had some fun going out. This boy sound totally lame. Find someone who deserves the wonderful person you are :)
