Do the ads on this site bother you?
Since I look at the site every day I generally don’t even notice them except for the occasional times when something is there that I don’t like (um, diet pill ads!).
But I have been wondering, for those of you who visit and comment often…does it bother you? I know a lot of you also have ads on your site. I get a lot of google traffic so they are there mainly for that purpose (and because BlogHer doesn’t like me and is always closed when I try to sign up). Its not like I make a ton off of money off of them, but I am so broke right now every little bit helps to pay for the hosting costs. Believe me… its not like I have made money off my weight loss adventures. I’m just wondering if the ads are bad? Good? Who cares?
Also, I have added a widget of the right sidebar that will hopefully solve some problems I have had with getting a lot of requests for text links on my homepage. Now if you want a link you can just pay 5.00 and get yourself on the list! Its basically a ‘tip’ for my being awesome, plus I give you a link. Sweet, right? So, no more e-mails asking for links. Good!

I read almost everything with my Google Reader so I never even see the ads. As long as they don’t end up popping up in the middle of the page or making obnoxious sounds I say run as many ads as you want. Your blog, your rules.

I don’t mind the ads. In fact, I am considering putting some on my blog. Like most people, I would like to at least generate enough income to pay for my hosting fee and domain registration. I wouldn’t worry about it.
