Weekend Weigh In 1/25/09

in Weight Loss

Saturdays are my weigh in day…. I was doing videos for my weigh ins, or at least had that idea, but I think a weekly video is too much for me (I’m no MizFit). Maybe I will do monthly videos instead.

But I did take a little picture to show you how I feel about this weigh in. That should say it all.

Yeah, its not good.  I would rather not even bother with weigh ins if I am going to gain weight,  but I suppose its all part of the process.  My journey has highs and lows…. welcome to a low point.

Scale says: 241.6  Damn.

Also, I just want to say that I find it really amusing that I post my weight online but refuse to tell someone I know.  This person really wants to know but I refuse to tell.  I find this really funny.  I suppose I could just tell them, or stop posting my weigh ins, but honestly what does it matter?  Its just a number.  I know the fact that I weigh over a certain number will automatically make some people dislike me, some guys never date me, some people never hire me, etc.  But this number really means very little to me.

Oh, and more.

Your picture makes me want to reach in there, put my fingers at the corners of your mouth, and bring that frown to a smile. This is supposed to be the blog of a happy girl! Don’t let your weigh-in get you down. Just pick yourself back up, follow the plan, and have a great week!

and that may NOT be a bad thing :) my videos are so rawrawraw.

@Steve
Lol. I’m smiling now. :) The weigh in didn’t really get me down, but I shouldn’t pretend that bad emotions don’t exist. I am happy 97.6% on the time, but those other emotions sneak in sometimes (usually when eating or weighing in). I am going to workout today and have a great day!

@Miz

I know Miz…. you are just the only one I could think of that did weekly videos. So you got putz in as an example. Yo.

Be careful, I’ll sic my mother on you and she’ll say (in an incredibly saccharine voice), “Let’s turn that frown upside down.”

On second thought, I wouldn’t do that to you. It’s a cross I’ll have to bear myself. :)

(I don’t tell people my weight either, but to you guys, I’m an open book. *G*)

Cute picture ;)

I know how you feel! Some of my weigh ins have been so disappointing even when I really worked hard. Just know that the fact that you are trying to become healthier sometimes just has to be enough to continue with the process. The scale isn’t always our friend.

I wouldn’t tell hubby my weight for a long time but I’d tell blogger world. It’s pretty normal. I do have to say, once I told him, I felt lighter in a way :)

Hi nice post, i have come across your site once before when searching for something so i was just wondering something. I love your theme, would it happen to be a free one i can download, or is it a custom one you had made? In a few months i may get my own domain, but i don’t know how to setup themes so i don’t mind paying someone to make me a nice one and set it all up. Do you know any good Wordpress designer companies, thanks for your help. :)

@Burl
This is a free theme that I found. You can click on the theme name at the bottom of the page to go to the designers website. If you can afford it I totally suggest getting a custom theme made and set up. I plan on doing that eventually but I like this clean theme for now. There are a lot of good WP designers around, if you pay for a theme it wont have any of the errors that a lot of free ones do.
