Fitness Tip: Pedometer Contest

Competition brings out the best in most of us.  So in order to move more daily make walking a competition with others.  Enlist friends, family, coworkers, or blogging buddies in a game to see who can walk the most throughout their day.  Wear a pedometer and have everyone track their steps each day.  At the end of the week or month compare the totals and award the winner a prize chosen by everyone involved.

Anyone want to play “Who Walks The Most?”  My super competitive self would move more just to try and beat you.

Sweet! I am so starting tomorrow counting my steps. I’m usually lazy on Saturdays so I’ll have to step it up (hardy har har).

Yes a weekly basis is good. We can go Sunday – Saturday and you can mail the weekly count to me on Sunday. Fun! I’m trying to walk more already!
