You know what losing weight takes? Two things: hard work and dedication.
The people that are successful are the ones that work hard. They sacrifice things they love and sometimes even people. They are dedicated to the goal of losing weight and being healthy.
One of the people I have found online lately that is a perfect example of this is Jen, a successful weight loss blogger who blogs at Prior Fat Girl. She has lost over 80 pounds in a year and blogs about her new life as a skinnier and healthier version of her old self. She looks amazing and from what I have read of her blog has a really great attitude.
Here is something from her “how I did it” section about how she lost the weight:
I have worked my ass off. This is no joke. I have spent hours at the gym, given up things that I used to think were important to me, been subject of many jokes, and lost friendships. But look at me now. You can do this too. You have the determination in you, just stop trying to use it on quick fix surgeries and diets. You can do this. You just have to make a few changes. You can do this too. Take it one day at a time, set small goals, focus on being healthy. You can do this!
There are those two elements to successful weight loss: hard work and determination. If you question any one who has lost a large amount of weight and kept it off these two things will be at the top of their list for reasons they succeeded.

Agree wholeheartedly. I would add a third requirement: belief that you CAN do it.
it IS that.
I used to say to my clients all the time:
ITS SIMPLE WHAT WORKS JUST A CHALLENGE TO PUT INTO PRACTICE.
