Goals

Just a quick note:  I’ve added a goals page to the humble blog so I have some concrete things to attack and track.  I’ve had most of these goals for a long time and have added a few new ones.   I was inspired to do this by watching other bloggers with similar goals and milestones lists cross completed goals off their lists. :-)

great idea. lists are good, especially ones involving goals. something to look at, reflect on, and work towards and the best part is crossing it off once you complete it.

Some cool goals/milestones :) It’s great fun crossing them off (particularly the fitness ones!)

Great idea I found setting myself goals to be a great motivator.
Having just checked out your goals page I have noticed you have set goals of losing weight. But for further motivation why don’t you put a timescale on each goal.
This is what I would do if they were my weight loss goals.

Lose 5 pounds – 3 weeks

Lose 20 pounds – 12 weeks

Lose 45 pounds – 27 weeks

Lose 55 pounds – 31 weeks

Lose 65 pounds – 37 weeks

Lose 70 pounds – 40 weeks

Weigh 175 pounds – 40 weeks to reach target weight

Good luck!

Very good…my goal today was to be nice to my husband.

(and I’m loving the new format)

Hey there :D New to your blog…
I haven’t set any real goals apart from my target weight and just hoping for a loss each week. You have inspired me to make some! I like lists and ticking crap off so yay!
