(Healthy You Challenge Check In) This week was a very good one for me. I’ve been staying at a friend’s house the last 4 days and since I’ve been here I’ve been doing great with food. I’ve had probably one fast food meal per day, which isn’t great, but I’m still staying under calories and not eating at night. The fast food isn’t the best thing, but I will let it slide.
I went to buy some fresh, whole food at the grocery store the other day for the rest of my time here. I will try my best to not eat out today. I’ve got a lot of fresh fruit and ingredients for a salad that I need to eat soon. Hopefully the fresh food will give my body a needed break from all the extra fat and sodium I’m getting with fast food. (Oh, but I like Chicken Quesadillas from Taco Bell!)
Exercise has been at a minimum level this week. I’m stuck here without a car, so I can’t get to a gym like I normally do. I’ve done some basic stuff like situps, pushups, stairs, and such, but I haven’t had a hardcore workout like I love. Today I will at least get a good walk in.
Apparently this Biggest Loser Challenge doesn’t end this week like I thought. It ends next week on July 20. I must have missed that memo. Anyway, I did all the calculations so I think my mom will win. Go Mom! I should come in second or third.
Well now, let’s get on with the numbers game.

This week was a good week! I’m glad the scale reflects that and I am so close to the -15.0 mark! I will be good during my road trip and friend’s wedding this weekend and then next week will be the 15 mark! Woot!
