Hey! I'm doing the Couch to 5k running program too. I'm on Week 3 Day 2 now. Do you have an app on your iPhone that you set up for timing? I have an iPhone too and I'm really bad at calculated when I should be running versus when I should be walking and always end up messing it up somehow.

Just curious how I could set it up myself!

@Merri
Very good point about getting sick from running in the rain. I get sick pretty easily sometimes, so I definitely don't run if its both raining and cold. I think I could probably run in warmer weather with rain, but I probably won't chance it.

Running in the rain could give you a cold. From being wet and soggy. And then you might have to miss even more days of exercising later. So I think its best to not do it. I could not even workout without music and rain would ruin an ipod so there's that too. Congrats on the challenge and glad youre having fun in chicago.

Even though I can't run yet, unless it's on an elliptical, the big issue I would have with running in the rain is I'd slide on a slick spot in the road and bust it. Then they'd have to roll my happy butt to the hospital in a wheelbarrow. And thanks for the heads up about my comments not working. I fixed. Thanks!
