Check In Time: Go Me, Go Me!

by Mary on October 2, 2009

in Weight Loss

Didn’t get much sleep or any good sleep last night so I’m super tired today.  Have been pushing through but would have loved to schedule myself at some point during the day.

Had my second assessement/check in since I’ve been at Green Mountain.   Here are my results in a video!!

Yeah. So I’ve been at Green Mountain for a month now.  That is the normal amount of time it takes to do the whole program.  I feel like it is a good chunk of time and if I was going home now I would be able to feel good about my progress. Mentally I’m clearer, physically I feel better, and I’ve learned quite a bit about eating mindfully and controlling bad habits.  I’m good to go.  So I feel good about my friends that are leaving this weekend.  I feel like they all have the tools they need to continue to change their lives and I know that they will take full advantage of that.  I wish them all the best.

In my month here:

I’ve lost 7.5 lbs

I lost 4 inches over all

I’ve gained 2 inches in flexibility

So, let’s say it together: WOOHOO! Yeah, those are pretty good results for a month. I’m quite satisfied with my progress.  Go me! Go me!  :)

I’m off to Cape Cod and Boston this weekend!  Hope you have a good one!  Do something active!

Meals:

Breakfast Friday 10/2Lunch Friday 10/2Snack Options Because Cottage Cheese is Yucky Friday 10/2Friday DinnerDessert Friday

Moves:

1 hour low impact step aerobics class

30 minute walk at slow pace

30 minute Zumba class

So totally fantastic! I am so excited for you. Tell me about Zumba – I have been wanting to take a class for forever. Now I am not sure when I can due to my busted ankle, but I’m still very curious about it.

YAY! So proud of you…way to go!

Just did my first Zumba class this morning. I liked it a lot…the music is GREAT! I posted about it today (which is saying something, ’cause I’m coming out of a blogging dry spell).

Nice job!!

Yay video! :) And yay excellence! That’s pretty damn awesome, actually :) Congratulations, Mary! And I’m glad you’re feeling like you’re good to go, mentally. That’s got to be a good thing. So hopefully the next couple months will prepare you even more.

Yea Mary! Great results: is sure does feel good to have a clearer mind and a body that isn’t so sore all the time, isn’t it!
Hope you had a good time with Lori & Rosanna exploring Mass… Wish we could have done it while I was there….have limited access to the computer, so must run, but PLEASE tell everyone Hi for me. I’m keeping up with the daily exercise, and am doing just ok on the food. It’s a bit different on the outside when I have to get my own food!

@Mom
You need to start pretending you don’t read my blog so I have something to tell you about when I talk to you! Haha, just kididng! I love your comments!

@Sheena!!!
Your comment cracked me up. I didn’t even see M at dinner before I left but I’m sure he will be around soon. I MISS YOU!!!

@Foodie McBody
As soon as you get a chance take a class. Zumba is sooo much fun! I love it. If you wanna chat about it some on Twitter or through email hit me up. But I HIGHLY recommend it.

@BodyByPizza
That was not previously my goal, but now it is. :)

@Margie!!
I’m so glad to hear from you love! I had a great time in Mass with Lori, Rosanna, and Karen. It was great and I’ll post on it later. I am glad to hear you are still exercising and getting that body ready for the next adventure. Food is tough but I know you can do it!

19 Lori October 5, 2009 at 7:51 pm
