Planning to far ahead always leaves me overwhelemed, so I just don't bother. Taking things one day at a time always seems to work better for me. Visiting FLG? Sounds like it will be fun :).

I think Ive become both mre and less of a planner as I age.
More in the sense of my mission statements (spiritual personal etc ) so I have a framework by which to live my life and a very open "goal" for that aspect of my world----but LESS in the structured non flexible specificity of it all.

I have to say that just going with the flow is the best thing for day-to-day things. I think there comes a balance between planning and expecting everything to fall into place. i know some people that had specific dates for when they wanted to get married and by when they wanted to have children. They would marry the wrong people or sprial downward because they weren't able to get into the place they dreamed of being into. I think that making plans or aspirations for yourself is the best thing that you can do. I want to be a nurse. So I am taking a shiza load of loans out, quitting my job, etc...to make it happen. I know that I have to get specific things done, but stressing out about finances and stuff like that has proven me no good luck. I think there's a bit to planning, a bit to following your heart, and a lot of trust in people.

I don't plan. Well, i plan for maybe the next week or something. I always like to know what i'm doing that weekend... and during the week its pretty much the same. but as far as long term goals, nope not at all. its like a giant blank.. sounds like youre going to have a great next few months!!! :)

Just love hearing all this & thx for answering my question!

I used to be a big planner when I was younger & I got so burned out on life & corporate life I was leading that I am having a hard time getting back to plans & so forth. I am older so thinking about 5, 10 20 years from now is not like when I was 25... it is scary too.... BUT I think I should at least set some life plans vs. just fitness plans.. That I am good at! :-)
