in Weight Loss

Heeeeey!!  This has been a crazy long day, but I shot my video check in and wanted to share it!  I also answered a question in there about “how I’ve lost weight.”  So check it out.

So…

Previous Weight: 228
Weight loss: -1
Weight loss at GMFR: -14
Weight loss total: -24

Also, here are my workouts for the week.  Damn.  Today was killer:

  • 45 minutes step aerobics class
  • 45 minutes Zumba class!

  • 30 minutes recumbent bike intervals

Monday 11/9:

  • 30 minutes upper body strength training
  • 30 minutes pilates
  • feel like I did more, but forgot what!

Sunday 11/8:

  • 20 minutes 1 mile walk

I probably won’t do anything tomorrow, so that’s it for the week.  If not, I’ll update later.

Oh, and one last thing!  Anele sent me and awesome e-mail and picture.  She said: “I couldn’t resist sharing a little trick I like to do with my progress pics that helps me focus on the lines of the body without the distraction of the clothes worn, background, etc.  I use a Photoshop stamp filter and it shows the lines of the body really well.  I attached one I did of yours.”

Cool, right?  I’m sticking with my story of hard work pays off.  So go do it!!

Love the new progress pics!!!! COOL! And you know I am one that definitely loves to have muscles!!! They are “it” to me! You know Mary, a lot of people compliment me on them BUT some guys (& women) think it is just too much for a woman. I do not care! I like having muscles & man, they help your health long term. You go girl! Congrats!

Hi,
I’ve been where you are at and I concratulate you. After 6 years of fighting with the baby-fat I had left from my pregnancy, I was ready to give up. I saw doctors and specialists and did not qualify for any operations but was still told that I am in the overweight BMI. Finally, I ran into Isagenix, a deep cleansing system. Hey, we all service our cars and get those annoying oil changes etc, but who ever cleanses our body from all the toxics and junk we take into our body. Ofter those toxins prevent us from loosing the extra annoying weight. Within the first 3 days I could feel more energy, sleep better, think clearer. The first month I lost over 15lbs and my friends lost an average of 25lbs their first month. Feel free to contact me.
Good luck and hang in there.
Julia

@Deb
It does and they are!!

@Barry
I am trying to tell it like it is. The good and the bad and the sucky and all of it!

@Kepa
I will! Ass kicker will be my new name.

@Melissa
Yeah, I guess I do workout a lot, but it’s all stuff I enjoy doing so it doesn’t feel terrible.

@Jody
It’s your body and you get to decide what looks good! If you like muscles then keep building muscles! I’m a fan!

@Diane
Thanks. :)

“A” Kicker huh! You do look great and I love the pictures from Anele, that was so awesome. I think you have made great strides and you have overcome some big obstacles, maybe not all of them, but you know how to do it now. Exercise and feeling good about yourself seem to go together, taking care of your body and your mind also together.
I can’t wait for the little trip we are going to take maybe by the time you get here and help me work out, I can be in better shape to do some mountain climbing or various other things that require lots of walking.
I did look at Kepa’s blog and it is truely amazing what he has done on his own, what a determined young man, quite the romantic also. The roses were so beautiful and the little notes so seriously sweet. I can see why you think so highly of him and what he has accomplished.
I sure hope you feel better, I do not like to think about you being so far away and being sick, hope one of the ladies will mother you with some TLC. Get better and get back to your name.!!!!
Love you,
MOM
