Woohoo! It’s been a good week with good workouts and my new workout buddy, plus all the good food I’ve been cooking. So how did I do on the scale this week? Check it out…

WEEKLY WORKOUTS
Monday Feb 23 - 5 minute elliptical warm up; lower body workout (machines: leg press, extension, curl, and inner/outer thigh – 3 sets 10 each); abs workout of situps with medicine ball – 3 sets of 15; walk run 1 mile in 13:40
okay, after monday it gets fuzzy… I wrote it down somewhere but lost the paper. :( So here is my best guess
Tuesday Feb 24 – walked 2 miles at the zoo; 1 mile run/walk; abs – situps with medicine ball – 3 sets of 15; chest/bicep workout (incline press, chest press, hammer curls, bicep curls all 3 x 10 and biceps with resistance bands 3 x 30 = killer)
Wednesday Feb 25 – 1.10 miles run/walk on the treadmill; easy tricep workout (easy as in arms were killing me from night before)
Thursday Feb 26 + Friday Feb 27 - OFF
Saturday Feb 27 – Lower body workout (leg lifts [hammy + quad + inner + outer], squats, calf raises … 3 sets of 12 each)
Sunday Feb 28 – 30 minutes on the bike. 8/2 walk/run on treadmill.
THOUGHTS
Yay slow and steady weight loss! Going to do the same thing this week and hopefully get the same results! :)

As for me, we’ll find out tomorrow, hehe, but so far my week has been pretty good. I was very good so that I could afford to splurge at my cupcake party yesterday…scale this morning said 244.8 which would be a 1.8 loss from last week, so here’s hoping. :)

The lower body burns much more fat than the upper body, so keep doing those lower body workouts, especially the squats. Squats are hands down the best exercise for weight loss.

Great job! So happy to see someone going slow and steady and getting results. It’s inspiring for someone like me who is so impatient. I have to keep reminding myself I didn’t put on the extra weight overnight so I can’t expect to be rid of it overnight either.

Sounds like a great weekly work-out schedule! My week was not as great as I hoped, cause I had family in town and they only ever want to take me out to eat, eat, eat. But this week, I am back on schedule! Have a great week. :)
