It’s been a couple weeks since my last OWS update. Things have gone well since then. There haven’t been any more binge episodes and I’ve been in the gym five days a week. That means it’s been a success!
The wedding is less than a month away now. 27 days. It’s crazy to think about but I only have a couple weeks left before getting married and moving back to New Zealand. I’m going to try my very best to use this time efficiently!
Operation Wedding Sexy Update

This photo to the right is actually a couple weeks old, but I realize I never posted it. My bottom half has benefited from squats – an exercise I used to hate and now love. :)
Healthy lunches:
I took my lunch most days this past week. I ate out a couple times which I’m not terribly happy about. This week I’m staying closer to my work so even if I forget my lunch at home I will be able to go back and get it. There will be no excuses this week!
Workout 3 times a week:
This week I worked out 5 days and I’m going for a bike ride later today. I also had my first session with my personal trainer and learned an awesome new circuit workout. That workout is going to help me shake things up which will hopefully jumpstart more changes in my body. Change is good!
Drink 100+ oz water daily:
Water is my best friend! I need a new water bottle though because I lost the top to my old one and have been using plastic water bottles lately.
Therapy:
Therapy this week was good. Instead of looking at the past we started talking about the future and figuring out how I will deal with challenges. It made me really confident about the future as well as excited.
Weight & Body:
I don’t know how much I weigh right now. I don’t want to weigh in before the wedding and have that number hanging over me so I’m avoiding the scale. I gave one scale to my brother and just skip weighing myself at the gym. While I don’t know the number I would guess it hasn’t changed much lately.
But that doesn’t mean I haven’t changed. My mom told me I looked thinner the other day. My pants fit a lot better now. My body looks different with muscle. While the scale most likely hasn’t changed my body has.
Unfortunately I have no idea how this translates to my wedding dress. I’ve missed two dress fittings over the last two weeks so I have no idea how my dress will fit and look yet. I’m hoping it looks a lot better since I’ve lost an inch or so on my waist.
Wedding Updates
I might as well include wedding updates with my Operation Wedding Sexy updates, right? Today I’m working on lots of last minute projects: tissue paper wedding flowers, finalizing the menu, bridesmaid gifts, and gathering photos to print and display at the wedding.

Wow. That feels so long ago! I’m excited to print off all these photos and even more excited about our upcoming wedding photos. I can’t wait to have professional photos of us together.
Since I need to work on lots of projects today, I’m off to watch Pitbulls & Parolees (just started watching this show and I really like it!) and do wedding DIY projects. :)

It sounds like you’re on a roll that I’m sure will continue well past the wedding day itself. But, Mary, make those next dress fittings! If they have to make alterations (and it sounds like they might, with your body toning up and losing inches), you want to make sure to give them enough time. Enjoy these last 27 days.
Bella it’s not my fault the dress fittings didn’t happen. I had my dress made, not bought from a store, so it’s a little different situation. The lady who made my dress can finish it the week of the wedding if needed. But yeah, your advice would be good for other brides.
