First, here’s a couple photos from a trip to a kitchen & bath store. My question to you… Who needs a glass this big?
Maybe I should have bought it for a nice relaxing drink tonight because I don’t think I’ve been this tired in a long time.
Although JuJu is cute she is a lot of work. Seeing as she is only 6 weeks old I expected that but I forgot exactly what it was like to have puppies. I haven’t had one in years and I forgot that a puppy so little needs to go outside every hour or so… and when it wakes up… and when it eats… and in the middle of the night.
Basically, I’m very tired because I’ve been getting lots of extra activity thanks to JuJu! JuJu isn’t even big enough to go on walks yet and she is already kicking my butt. ;)
The good news is that JuJu is super fun to play with and possibly the best dog I’ve ever owned. She already comes when I call her and she is almost 100% housetrained. She hasn’t had many accidents and is rather good at going outside already. Totally wasn’t expecting it to be so easy but I’m glad it is. Win!
I won’t be blogging about JuJu all the time (maybe) but she has sort of taken over my life the last two days. I haven’t gone to the gym (today is actually a scheduled rest day) and almost every break from working has been to take care of and play with her. Since she is all I have going on, she is all I have to blog about too… hope you don’t mind!
I wish I had worn a pedometer the last two days to see how many extra steps I took. I know it is probably double what I normally do! I’m quite happy about that because it’s eliminating my sitting-for-too-long-while-working problem. JuJu is already making me more active and happy which is one of the reasons why we got her. :)
Even though I’ve been pretty active the last two days I still believe I’m going to enjoy this rest day because tomorrow I’m headed back to the gym and my more regular schedule. Though I’m reluctant to leave my new love I know she will be fine while I go lift weights and get in my exercise for an hour. Right? Yep. Tomorrow will be filled with even more activity… rock on!

JuJu is absolutely adorable!!
How is Senor Kitty doing? Has he tried to establish himself as boss yet? We had a cat (male as well) & then brought in a female pup who was a German Shepard cross with crocker spaniel. The dog looked like a German Shepard but wasn’t as big. The cat – chased the dog, attacked the dog, the cat showed the dog he was in charge from day one!! It was a fun sibling rivalry.
Actually, that cat, ruled us all.. He was one of the best cats we ever owned & sadly passed away at the age of 19 in 2009 – still very hard for me as he was in my life for over half my life. Anyway!!
Can’t wait to see how JuJu & Senor Kitty get on. Maybe they will be the best of friends as I have seen that happen too with family dogs & cats!!
And posting lots of pics of your pets is fine with me!
Actually Senor Kitty is super pissed and in hiding where the puppy can’t go/isn’t allowed. I’m hoping eventually they at least tolerate each other enough to stay in the same room!
Oooooh Juju is just too cute for words. I’ve got serious dog envy. And Southern hemisphere summer envy- it’s cold here!
Don’t get too envious. It’s actually cold and raining here today. Bummer!
I had to giggle because I think most of us forget what it’s like to have totally dependent bundle o’ fur but she’ll be sleeping through the night and the bladder will thankfully adjust. You’ve got a great walking buddy in the making!

MARY!!!! I just can’t want to squish that puppy of yours. OMG – that picture of her with Kepa really demonstrates how small she is…squish squish squish her up for me! And get lots of puppy breath kisses!
