Guess Who Gained Weight?

JuJu did!

A month ago we got JuJu and immediately took her to the vet.

Yesterday we took her for her second vet visit.

Why, yes, she has doubled in size since her first visit. Our little doggy is soon to be a big doggy.

She has only had two rounds of vaccinations so we can’t really take her anywhere yet other than the vet and pet stores if we carry her. We definitely don’t want her to get parvo so we are being very cautious and keeping her home.

But that’s okay because she is learning all sorts of things! Like how to sit and how to walk on a leash and how to fetch. She loves to fetch a ball and can run extremely fast to get it. She is pretty smart too and is catching on to lots of commands which gives me hope when we take obedience classes in a month she will do well. She is going to be the best dog when she grows up!

I’m looking forward to when she is big enough to go to the farmers markets with us like the one we visited today (review coming later). I love how all the farmers markets are very dog friendly and usually have some sort of dog treats or dog food for sale. :)

Hope you all have a great weekend!

She’s too cute! I remember when our Sashi was small- she was 9 pounds when we got her, now she’s about 75 pounds. You’ve right about not wanting to get parvo. Our girl got it halfway through her vaccines thanks to some sick stray dogs coming right up to our doors. Luckily we caught it early and pulled her through!

Hey!

I just found your website, i read the article “how to stop eating sugar” that you wrote back in 2010. It was very helful, and god knows i need to stop eating sugar.. for me the biggest problem is the break outs and acne i get because of it.

Thanks for the article, great job!

What a doll! Make sure to take lots and lots of photos and video – you’ll be surprised by how quickly you forget how tiny they once were. Enjoy!

Wow! She is so big! My friend came over with his puppy last night (6 months). She was wrestling with our 8 year old golden retriever/duck toller. At one point the puppy was really challenging Jersey (who is about twice the size of the puppy) and Jersey body slammed her to the floor! It was hilarious!
