Friday Five, Oh Right, That.

I’m sitting here trying to think of something to write and it is hard. It’s hard because I’m TIRED.

I’m tired because I keep kicking my own butt with these LiveFit workouts.

So instead of trying to come up with a deep or serious or controversial post I’m going back to teh old Friday Five standby.

It has come to this.

Five Things That Made This Week Awesome

  1. Starting phase 3 workouts in LiveFit Trainer.
  2. This weigh in.
  3. Feeling like a badass walking into the gym, not just when I walk out.
  4. Phone calls my mom, brothers, and best friends.
  5. Lots of general good feelings and happiness. :)

Five Things That Will Make The Weekend Awesome

  1. We are going to another rugby game!
  2. Dinner at a yummy Chinese place with Kep’s bff and his girlfriend.
  3. Long walk with JuJu and Kepa at the park.
  4. Watching my friend Tai’s marching competition.
  5. No work, limited blogging, lots of relaxing!

Five Things I Need To Do

  1. Research how to teach JuJu to stop barking.
  2. Convert my drivers license to a NZ license.
  3. Apply for a new passport with my new name.
  4. Pay my accountant who is doing my taxes.
  5. Find a second job for my free time!

Five Recipes I Want To Make

  1. Chick-Fil-A Bites (Iowa Girl Eats)
  2. Caramelized Chicken with Jalapeno Cream (How Sweet Eats)
  3. Grilled Zucchini Pizza (Kalyn’s Kitchen)

  1. Hug someone you love.
  2. Go do something active for at least ten minutes.
  3. Drink a glass of water.
  4. Leave me a comment.
  5. Have an amazing day!

Sounds like you have so fun activities/experiences planned! What do you like to order at Chinese restaurants? I love chicken and peapods or chicken and cashews. Crab rangoon is a must!

I looove crab rangoons but they don’t do them in NZ! It’s an American Chinese food thing I guess, which makes me so sad. I might make my own again though because they are yum. And if I find a place that makes them here I’m going to get excited. Other than those I don’t really have a set thing. I just order whatever sounds good and try to stay on the healthy side with lots of veggies.

We only just stopped Lily from barking in Janary – we tried everything and the thing that worked in the end was to make a loud noise (slam kitchen cupboard or slap our leather couch hard – whatever is at hand) whenever she barked. Not a noise aimed at her, or threatening her but it simply distracted her from the barking and she would come over to see what the deal was and check we were ok.

In worked within 2 days, I couldn’t believe it! – and now she has one or two warning barks and I tell her “enough” that is it – which is what I wanted, I didnt want her not to bark at all (especially when I am home alone at night – potential robbers don’t need to know she would probably just lick them to death!).

I am leaving work at 2pm and then going to the 50 cent store for some pants and shirts for summer, (hopefully). Then going to get your brother Saturday, since it is spring break, he wants to come home for a few days. Sunday is church and my sunday school class, maybe your brother will go with us. Hope to get some rest in the afternoon and watch a movie while Glenn entertains your brother. Love you! Have a great weekend and you need a break, the outdoors is your thing so get out and enjoy especially the walking with JuJu and Kepa……Mom
