It feels like a day for photos. Here are a few from my day. :)
1.
Why yes, there was a fire in a parking garage that we passed this morning on the way to work. Lots of fire trucks and hoses and water happening there. I never found out what happened exactly but hopefully everyone was okay.
2.
Crazy hair. All day.
I don’t even know what to say about this. I need a brush? Hair product? Different hair? ;)
3.
Daily Show! I ate my lunch at my desk today (which is pretty lame), but I decided to watch The Daily Show on Hulu during my break. It was a fun change and I enjoyed the laughs midway through the day. I might do this again!
4.
My last meeting of the day was at a company that had a rooster in their plastic tree. Why? Don’t ask me.
5.
After work I hit up the Overton Square Block Party in Memphis. I watched the end of one of the ink-off competitions where artists battle against each other to create ink murals. It’s pretty awesome to watch. I didn’t stay too long since I had a headache and couldn’t stand the heat/sun. Other than that it was a great time!
All in all it was a pretty good day! Happy weekend everyone!

I think your hair looks super cute! However if you want to sleek it down a little more – you probably want a good moisturising shampoo/conditioner, or a serum product like Moroccan Hair Oil/Argan Oil for after you wash.
I have a mixture of fine baby hair and coarse hair – but a ton of it either way – and I wash with whatever shampoo is on special at the supermarket to be honest! But usually L’Oreal, Pantene or Dove – what makes the difference is that I run a few pumps of hair oil through after washing – and usually one more time through the ends after a few days. But it’s a delicate balance :) I don’t wash my hair more than once/twice a week either.

my hair is usually a mess all througout work too. i figure, it doesnt really matter. i think it’s cuz im always pushing it away from my face while i’m working, or pulling at it when i’m stressed lol. then again, my hair is often a mess even when i’m not at work! it’s ok, messy is in!
