Yesterday after my workout at the YMCA I decided to stop by the grocery store for some breakfast food.
I’ve been planning my dinners but breakfast is at a bit of a standstill and needed some new options. For the last few days I’ve been having protein shakes but real food sounded way better. My roommate and I planned to go grocery shopping this week for low carb lunch and dinner food so I stopped in for breakfast food only.
Of course, I left with a few other things as well. Doesn’t that always happen?
I have a rule when I stop in to stores like this for just one or two specific things. I can’t use a cart or basket and can only get what I can carry. This limits me even if I decide to pick up a couple impulse buys because I can’t carry all that much!
Since it’s near my gym I headed to ALDI to pick up a few things to make sure I could make breakfast at home. Skipping breakfast isn’t an option for me so having breakfast food at home is crucial to starting my day off right.
On my list originally was eggs and cheese. I also picked up turkey bacon and a single serving of greek yogurt on impulse and decided to get sour cream and string cheese too!
You can see everything I got on this quick trip in the grocery video haul below:
So I did this and might do more store and grocery haul videos simply because I like haul videos. It’s totally weird and conflicting to my ideals of debt freedom and personal finance, but it’s fun to see what other people buy and show off what you buy. Right?
Let me know in the comments if you like haul videos. I’m curious if I’m the only one or not!
I’m having eggs and turkey bacon for breakfast this week… what are you having?
