I admit… I’m a bit spoiled because I’m having multiple baby showers in March. Three weekends in March are baby shower related… and the other is a bridal shower I’m helping host. It’s shower season!
Honestly our friends and family have gone above and beyond in wanting to help support us in welcome the baby to the world. We’re truly blessed by our community.
My first baby shower was this past weekend and it was amazing! The decor was so cute, I loved the “activity stations” and all the food was literally stuff my friends made from my Pinterest boards. They basically pulled together everything I love.
There was an adorable mimosa bar (with sparkling grape juice for some of us). I love drinks with fruit so it ended up being so fun making a mix!
Instead of games they did activity stations like this headband making station and late night diapers station! It was such a hit and I’ll be posting more about these baby shower ideas later since I loved it so much.
Games can be fun at showers sometimes, but I find things like these activity stations go over well so people can choose their level of involvement. Some people made a ton of headbands and funny diapers and a few skipped it all together in favor of chatting or eating the delicious Pinterest worthy baby shower foods.
I got a ton of great stuff as gifts at the shower that will all be super useful once baby arrives! I made a quick video showing off all the amazing stuff I got.
I’m incredibly excited about some of the things we received like our pack n play and a baby carrier! I’ve got to start practicing my baby wrap skills so I’m ready to carry her.
My friends are amazing! The hosts were so awesome and gracious to throw the shower and all my friends that came were so sweet.
I really wanted a smaller, intimate shower with ladies around my age and that’s exactly what it was. I got to ask a ton of questions since almost everyone already has kids and I left feeling more prepared with the knowledge and supplies I gained. It was such a huge success.
Every new milestone makes the idea of having a baby even more real. Now that I’m in the “month of baby showers” it feels very, very real that by next month I’ll be meeting our little one!
