This is the companion food blog for my weight loss blog: A Merry Life. It is a record, more or less, of the healthy food I’m eating to lose weight with some recipes (experiments) and reviews thrown in too.  I started cooking for myself and my mom when I returned from New Zealand in February 2010 and am experimenting and learning as I go.  Everything here is just my attempt to educate myself about nutrition, food, and cooking.
