G’day, Kepa here.
Today I wanted to talk about a product we sampled (and then purchased) at the Clevedon Farmers Market on Sunday. Pork and Fennel Sausages by Harmony.
So we were walking past Harmony’s stall when an elderly gentleman came up to us with the offer to try their pork and fennel sausages. Always up for a new flavour experience, we accepted, and what an experience it was! He went on to tell us that they source all their meat from free-range farms, so we were eating happy piggies.
We bought a pack of the sausages, and later for lunch I cooked them up in the frypan. I decided to go with a light fry for about 2o minutes a side, and they came out quite delectable.
I tried them with tomato sauce, and mustard, but in the end my favourite way to eat them was on a simple slice of buttered bread.
NOM!
Mary’s Note: I LOVE these sausages. I don’t normally like to eat sausages but Harmony sold me on the happy pigs (all meat comes from free-range farms where their animals are grass fed and there are no cages, no pens, only open pasture). Plus fennel in sausage tastes amazing!
