I Cooked An Artichoke!

by Mary

Skipped breakfast because I went to play putt putt with the fam. When I finally did eat…

I had tuna on wheat bread.

And chips and guacamole.

Chips and Guacamole

And fiber one cereal.

Cereal! Of course!

And then some artichoke with dip. I cooked the artichoke I had finally! It really wasn’t hard at all. I learned how to steam things! Super easy. You just cut off the thorns and then steam it for 25-40 (ha) minutes. And then I made dip from light mayo and balsamic vinegar.

Artichoke

It tasted pretty good, but since I have no idea what it should taste like I’m not sure. ;)

And then we had pizza for dinner. I started with two slices. They are little sllices, by the way.

Pizza

Food eaten today and not pictured? Blue raspberry ring pop, pudding cup, and two more small slices of pizza.

Yeah, whatever.

You’re officially a better cook than me. I’ve never cooked an artichoke! I’ve always been scared about the prep. Can I be a demanding boyfriend and ask you to cook me an artichoke when I come, please? :)

Just because I’ve cooked it doesn’t mean I’m a better cook! Your food is way better than my food!

You can ask for whatever you want. I will definitely cook you an artichoke!

The guac looks good. Did you make it or buy it? Hmm I don’t think I like artichoke. Except for artichoke dip. I would def try it..but I feel like I may have tried it at some point and not liked it. Hmm I think it would be interesting to take a photo of everything I ate each day. Well except for everyone else it would be boring, esp since I tend to eat too much the same things. And I don’t think it would be good for me in the end.

I always make gauc. I can’t stand to buy it because it’s never as good.

I liked the artichoke. It wasn’t bad. I liked the mayo dip I made for it better, haha.

Taking photos can be boring if you eat a lot of the same things. Since I’m trying to lose weight it helps with that, but if you eat healthy and don’t need to lose weight there really is no point. Other than doing it for fun I guess.
