I’ve Got A Cereal Problem

by Mary

This morning I woke up and my mom had made fried eggs, bacon, and biscuits. Seeing as I’m lazy about cooking my own food in the mornings I ate what was available. And it was yummay!!!

I’ve been having a cereal problem the last couple days. After breakfast I ate my first bowl. Frosted miniwheats.

Then for lunch I had a half pita with turkey lunch meat, spinach, yellow peppers slices, mayo and hot pepper relish. It was delicious, mostly thanks to the hot pepper relish. I love that stuff!

I also ate some strawberry yogurt with granola for lunch. And there ends my strawberry yogurt stash. I’m completely out of yogurt! Oh no!!

Then I had my next encounter with cereal resulting in two bowls of honey nut cheerios being eaten.

Like I said… cereal problem. (Serial problem is also accurate…hahaha.)

My mom made salmon cakes, potato wedges and lima beans for dinner. I ate them with ketchup (forget the cocktail sauce you see!).

Yum. Now to just figure out how to keep myself away from cereal.

Today’s food looks good to me. Portions look fantastic (that’s one of my biggest issues) Breakfast could have been better, but still you had a good day. :)

It was okay day besides the two extra bowls of cereal (one is okay but three is a bit much). I’ve got the portion sizes down. Breakfast wasn’t that bad really, since I don’t eat it often. I’ve just gotta stop eating cereal when I’m not hungry just thirsty (I think that’s what the problem is).

HA! Too funny, I also had baby lima beans yesterday and today!

Several years ago I had a problem with cereal there for awhile too. I could never stop at one bowl, especially Crunchy Nut Cornflakes. (I think they’re called honey nut cornflakes here in teh US?) Now, I have to stay away from honey nut cheerios.

Good luck with getting over the emotional and mental 200 hump!

Those biscuits look good! And the salmon cakes! I am not a cereal fan, though those are pretty tasty brands you ve got there. Cereal (unless its something like oatmeal or my ezekiel 4:9) makes me even MORE hungry after I eat it, so I figure theres no point. Its mostly air. but obv theres a lot of people who disagree with me, as the cereal aisle in every grocery store is gigantic!
