Yesterday I forgot my camera at my friend’s house where I’m staying and then couldn’t take pictures of my food for the rest of the day. I suppose it’s just as well because my choices weren’t the best ever. I’m thinking about getting an iphone again so I can use the camera for any times I forget my real camera. I hate to be tracking my food and then just forget my camera. I’ve been learning a lot from this project. It helps to look back at what I’ve eaten each day.
Yesterday I ate:
- half a bagel with peanut butter
- nutty granola with grapes from previous night
- half a turkey sub from Subway
- chicken quesadilla from Taco Bell
- caramel apple empanada
- shrimp kid’s meal from Captain D’s (shrimp, frieds, hush puppy, COKE)
Yeah. So I ate more than I had planned. And way more fast food. Visiting my friend is fun and all, but I wish I hadn’t had so much fast food. That’s probably my fault for the choices I made, but it’s all good. I did enjoy the Taco Bell and Subway… just not the Captain D’s. Sometimes I will eat things when people bring them to me without much thought. I suppose I’m just trying to be nice?
Food for thought for me at least.

What is in a hush puppy? Caramel apple empanada sounds good! (unless it was from taco bell, cuz personally, I hate that place).
Hushpuppies (Hush puppies) are a savory starch based food made from cornmeal batter that is deep fried or baked in small ball or sphere shapes.
Yum.

And yeah, it was from Taco Bell. There are only three things I will order at Taco Bell and those are two of them.
that sounds kinda good. kinda like johnny cakes. id try those if i ever go to the south.
I hate forgetting to take pictures of my food too..more so than caring about the blogging aspect of it, it keeps me accountable for what I’m eating.
I luuurve hushpuppies. I finally found some vegan ones in NYC..addicted to them now :)
That’s exactly why I do it. I don’t really care if anyone reads this blog or not… it’s mainly for me and my food tracking/accountability.
