Hey Mary! My cousin, Ryan Dagen told me about your blog and sent me the link. I started a weight-loss journey on this past Tuesday to lose 100 pounds. I havn’t had time to completely look around on everything you’ve got on here, but what I’ve seen so far, I”m so impressed! Thank you for doing this! –Teresa
Awesome list! I think I might steal some of those and make my own list. I’m doing my first 5K in April.
Thank you !! I am 38 year old and my weight is out of control.I like your goals and progress page. I hope you have reached your goals.
I like the check off list – what a sense of accomplishment! I have my tickle factory thing on my blog too, but I think I will add the goals in as well. Thanks for the idea! :) Hugs, Kirsten
I actually just started a blog a few months ago(my first blog ever… I have no idea what I’m doing) and came across your site. Your site is pretty much exactly what I had in mind for mine, but WAY better and very well put together. Do you mind if I swipe some of your ideas (like the checklist)?
I WISH I could run a full mile! Great job girl! Keep it up!
So I think whenever you decide to run a 5k (and it will probably be in NZ) I would like to visit and run it with you. Or maybe your first one can be in Chicago after I move there?! That would pretty freaking sweet as well.
Please join me! Eventually we will run one together. :)
Hi,
Just discovered your site and I think it’s great. I actually just started my own blog that is also about my own personal journey. I’m really impressed how you made your ordinary blog into a great website! I don’t think I’m cut out for that though!
I really want to go to NZ… I hail from AUS. You’d think that would be one of the first overseas places I’d go, but it hasn’t happened!
I’d love to go on a biking trip in NZ so I’ll be looking forward to when you cross that off your list and see how you liked it.
Cheers and well done with the site!
Just dicovered your site! This is amazing! I love your fitness goals, I am not that ambitious. I am starting my own journey to lose 52 lbs in 52 weeks: http://skinnyorbustin52.blogspot.com/
I plan to track my progress, post recipes I try, and find ways to substitute ingredients to make my favorite foods healthy. I hope you come check it out!
I really like this list, and how you just cross things out that you achieve! It is amazing :D You are doing wonderful, keep it up!
I love your goals! I challenged JackSh*t to run a 5K on Sunday, Nov. 14. I’m running one to benefit prostate cancer research. If you are willing, and I hope you are, you can participate in the challenge and cross off something else from your list!
I have been lurking for a while, but now I am finally writing to say that you look absolutely fantastic in those latest pictures. Having said that, I also think you look lovely and delightful in your older pics. But on the before and current/after set above, before you looked overweight and unhappy and now you look so happy and have such a nice figure!
My sweet Mary! You look amazing! I have just been going through looking at back posts on here. I am so proud of you! Since leaving Green Mountain, I have lost about 40 lbs. Sadly, divorce will do that for some of us. Now I am working (not as hard as I would like) to maintain and lose an additional 30. You never cease to inspire me. I am happy to have you in my life and happy that you are doing so well! I LOVE YOU! AND YOU ROCK!
I love this list as well! As it’s not just focused on weight, but ability measures! Best wishes to you as you embark on Triathlon training. You’re welll on your way to accomplishing all you’ve set out to do for yourself!
FANTASTIC website! I totally pinched your idea for the goals and progress. I love the every 5 lbs thing – very inspiring!
Hi there :)
A big congratulatory hug on your loss? hehe :P
I love that goals and progress idea….think am gonna rip that one off!
I wanted to ask you…how do you know when you’re hungry and when you’re not?? I am so used to boredom eating…i think its been ages since i felt any real hunger pangs…
Thanks!
Mary -
You RTed my post on 67 Emotions yesterday, which led me to your blog.
I am honored to be here, lady!
YOU ARE AMAZING.
Keep it up. I’m inspired.
xo
I am so glad I found your blog. You have made some huge strides! I have just started blogging about my struggle to lose some middle aged weight and am compiling a group of blogs to read for encouragement. You are on the top of the list, young lady! Thanks for what you do here, you may not know the impact you are having on people like me.
Andy

God knows how much I love achieving my own Goals not to mention getting extra energy from seeing others achieving their goals too. You did something good that I learned the hard way, making your goals more like milestones instead of getting yourself down by setting very hard goals.
Best of luck and I hope you enjoy your life while achieving the rest of your goals.
Hey Mary, I stumbled across your blog and am compelled to follow your progress!! Congratulations on your goals, and your results this far!! I have lost 10 pounds myself and am down 7 inches. I belive that we need to feel healthy from the inside out and you are doing just that!!!
I wish you much success and look forward to following your journey!
Warmest,
Nicki
I chanced on your blog and it was very inspiring to see the progress you have jotted down. One fact about weight loss which people require to understand is that weight loss requires persistent efforts. In the process one may encounter discouragements but a strong will power to stay fit will help them win. Quite the way you have presented and persisted. Great going!
Hi Mary!
Congratulations – what amazing progress you have made! What an inspiration!!
All the best with your ‘still in progress list’!! Angie :)
You’re so determined. You already lost many pounds. That’s good for you. Keep it up. Congrats to you for that great success!. XD
What a great idea! Do you find that you can come on here and see all the great things you have already accomplished and feel motivated? I really think its awesome to have some physical goals in here that equate into a healthy lifestyle! I will definitely be following your blog now to see what you have been up to! Happy New Year!
