These are a random assortment of helpful weight loss tools that I’ve used in my weight loss experience. I find most are about tracking and measuring and keeping you aware of what you are doing. When you are trying to lose weight you have to be aware of your actions and how they affect the bottom line.

This is the scale I use personally. I recommend it highly as it’s super accurate and great at helping me keep track of my weight and weight loss progress.

I use a wearable tracker most days just to monitor my activity and make sure I move around enough to reach a healthy level. Using a Fitbit (or Loop or Jawbone or similar) helps you move more and burn more calories each day in doing so!

Using a heart rate monitor is a great way to get in shape and reach your fitness goals. If you are focused on weight loss then the FT4 from Polar is a great model (and my favorite). I use my heart rate monitor when running or triathlon training.

What you wear when you workout can make a big difference in how you feel and how you perform. I am really picky about what I wear for workout clothes so I only purchase items at these places.

These books on weight loss have helped me get binge eating and compulsive eating under control. They were recommended to me by a therapist when I went to counseling for disordered eating habits. Eating mindfully is a huge help when trying to overcome bad eating habits!
