Posting year end reviews is one of my favorite things about blogging. I do it most years and always love looking back to see what I was doing in the previous year. This year I’ll take the format I used last year for my 2014 In Review post. I loved re-reading what I did in 2014!

This year was full of ups and downs and interesting experiences.
In April, I finished the AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge and posted my results. It was such a positive experience for me and I really enjoyed being so laser focused on eating and living healthy. It also left me feeling AMAZING.
Soon after the challenge finished, I turned 29 and had one of the best birthdays ever! My sweet boyfriend took of the day from work since I was already off and we had the most fun day going to lunch, visiting the zoo, and going to a fantastic Memphis Grizzlies game where we won!
The next month my amazing friend Candace got married and I was honored to be a bridesmaid. Her wedding was beautiful and I enjoyed every bit of the wedding weekend. I especially loved the bridesmaid dress because I still wear it regularly! Seriously!
At the end of May, Juju and I packed up our belongings and moved in with my best friend. We lucked out with an amazing new living situation after a year of torture so I feel super blessed this worked out as well as it did. We are both much happier since moving.
In June my employer gave us all a Fitbit Flex as a employee wellness perk. It’s been super fun to use all year and I really love tracking my steps and participating in challenges with people.
In July while I was trying to earn extra money through dog sitting I was bitten by a dog the owners didn’t control or train. It was scary, it hurt, and I still have a scar. Unfortunately I ended up losing money instead of earning it since the owners didn’t take responsibility. You can’t win them all.
In August I did my favorite DIY project of the year and finished my DIY White Painted Dresser. I’d wanted a dressed like this for a while so I loved creating it myself. It was also a great learning experience for finishing furniture in the future. I spent a lot of hours on this project during the month!
Also in August I got an awesome new knife that I use at least once a week if not more. This little knife was one of my favorite gifts I received all year since it’s so cute and incredibly practical.
In September I started taking magnesium, also known as The Best Thing I Ever Did For My Anxiety. Magnesium helps me keep my anxiety under control better and provides a sense of calm, and helps me sleep better. It was a fantastic discovery and a welcome addition to my arsenal of anxiety relief tools!
At the end of the year I got another great gift: my family grew! My brother and sister in law made me Aunt Mary when they announced they were having another little girl! (The photo above is from their baby gender reveal party because I love photos with my mom!)
It’s been a fantastic year looking back and I’m so grateful for all the wonderful things that happened this year. I didn’t even include all of them in this review which makes me even more grateful for everything that happened!
