I realized five months into the year that I never created a blog post sharing my goals for the year. Since it’s a worthwhile pursuit to check back in again and again on your goals list I’m using today to re-watch my goals list as I share it here!

Goals Update
I’ve already checked in on my monthly goals for the first quarter of the year.
How did I do? Pretty well! I think I ultimately won’t achieve every goal but I will hit the majority of them on the track I’m on. It helps to have regular check-ins to gauge my progress.
I’m definitely on track with most of my financial related goals. This makes sense as it has become a bigger focus in my life in order to pay off debt.
Some things I’ll need to work on more and keeping spaces uncluttered and focusing on self-care. These two things are goals of mine but they can easily fall to the wayside when things get busy, schedules fill up, and other things take priority.
Another thing I’m struggling to accomplish is stop nail biting! So far the best detterent has been a dip nail manicure but I don’t have those in the budget currently. I may have to find a way to add them back consistently for a 6 month period so I can get my nails done often enough to stop myself from biting.
Things that are going well are my therapy attendance, reading books and the bible, practicing gratitude, and going to yoga. These habits are pretty well ingrained in my weekly rhythms now. Overall creating this list of goals to work towards has definitely improved the quality of my life overall.
I hope you are doing well working toward your goals for the year!
