Hey friends! I just finished Day 1 of 30 Day Shred and I’m feeling amazing!! The 30 Day Shred workout is killer.
30 Day Shred In Amazon Library
I might not like all of Jillian Michael’s books and TV appearances, but I loooove her workouts! They are always good at kicking my butt and I do like the style of workouts she produces.
The other day I caved and ordered 30 Day Shred online to keep in my Amazon library for a good at home workout when I didn’t feel like heading to the gym. It’s a nice thing to have when it’s cold or raining or I just want to workout alone! Having at home workouts is a great way to squeeze in a workout if you don’t want to go to the gym or are traveling.
I love the Amazon library thing too! I was just going to watch 30 Day Shred on my computer anyway, so now I can keep it around on any computer I use. That will be handy for eventual traveling so I can even use it on different computers if I don’t feel like dragging my laptop on a trip.
30 Day Shred Workout
The workout itself was good. I started at the very beginning since I need to build my exercise stamina back up after months of being lazy.
Even the first workout was intense. I felt a bit like quitting at first when I realized just how out of shape I’ve become, but I pushed through. So glad I pushed! I felt really good when I finished.
My legs are a bit shaky and feel like jello at the moment after completing the first round of 30 Day Shred. That’s a good sign that this is a great workout.
I haven’t done squats in a long time, obviously! The workout was a nice mix of strength, cardio, and abs to get me back into the swing of things. The extra squats during the workout were just what I need to shake myself up and get my muscles burning. Yeaaaaaah!
I’m excited about getting heavier weights and progressing on to the next levels in time. I think this exercise DVD is going to be one that was well worth the purchase. Maybe I can workout at home after all. Two days of exercise done this week. Win win!
If you wanna join me in doing this workout, go get the DVD or purchase it on Amazon online: 30 Day Shred on Amazon
I love fitness DVDs and Jillian Michaels sounds like a good one. The DVD that changed everything for me was Jackie Warner’s 30 Day Fast Start. It is the exciting way of doing 55 reps of a given exercise. I was able to push past my limits when I didn’t think I could. I’ve been seeing websites for fitness classes online like FitnessGlo or FitnessClass, which I haven’t tried yet, but if DVDs work out for you it might be a good option for the future.
You are going to love it Mary! If you look at my blog, I posted a pic of my results from it and they are seriously amazing. I lost 18 lbs and 2 pant sizes in 30 days!!!
Congrats on starting! I’m on day 15! I love level 2 much more than level 1! If level 3 is just as good, I think I’ll do another 30 days of just levels 2 and 3, and then move on to Ripped in 30, 6 week 6 pack and eventually P90x (I hope!) :)
I’ll be following your progress!
Oooh, I’m excited for level 2! I’ll wait a while before jumping up but I can’t wait!
Congrats! You are doing great and look awesome!
Woo! Jillian is taking over our blogs! haha :D I’m excited to see how you do with thie program. I’ve owned it FOREVER and never made it all the way through. :)
I don’t know if I’ll make it all the way through either. I picked a bad time to start. Haha.
Totally feel the same way about her books vs. her DVDs. They are some great quick workouts that she has!
I haven’t read any of her books (probably won’t) but I love her DVDs. Sometimes her cuing is funny but I just like the overall work-out!!!
Great job on day 2!
Awesome! I did this workout DVD as well! I agree with Mrs. Smith – Funny I know… but workout 2 is a lot more fun than workout 1 and you push yourself even harder :) Something to look forward to! Good Luck with it all, rooting for you every step of the way! Yay!
I am so excited to get to Level 2 now!
The Smith’s know! ;-) LOL!
It is more intense but in a fun, “I feel accomplished” sort of way!
I love that workout. Kicks my butt every time! I never made it past level 1. Can’t wait until my back gets better to do it again!
Luv the pics. :)
