This is purely unimportant post, so feel free to skip it. I’m just dreaming of all the things I wish Santa would bring me (but I’m not getting unless I buy myself….being grown up sucks!).
Christmas List: The Stuff
I want a video camera! I’ve wanted a flip for a while, ever since using one at Green Mountain to create awesome videos for them. I would love to get a video camera so I can create more interesting videos and show you more of New Zealand. It’s impossible to take my laptop with me everywhere so that’s why a Flip would be perfect for creating more videos!
I really want a new lens for my Nikon D40 so I can take better food photos, especially in low light. I hate when I take restaurant photos in low light and they are just ugly. This lens will help with that. It’s actually something I’ve wanted for a while and have been saving up for. I’m halfway there, thanks to the Amazon gift cards I get from Swagbucks.
Now that I’m counting calories I’m also measuring my food. Turns out it’s incredibly difficult to get accurate ideas of what you are eating without a kitchen scale. I can eyeball things, but it’s still not as good as having a kitchen scale. So this is something I would love to eventually get.
Since two of the above are technically going to be business expenses when I finally make the move to buy them, I guess I don’t want much stuff.
Christmas List: Priceless
- Losing the gain from Thanksgiving and then some by Christmas.
- Zero on my credit card balances.
- Being with people I love.
- Calling or video chatting with my mom and brothers on Christmas.
- Spending Christmas, at least part of it, on a beach in New Zealand.
What’s on your Christmas list?
