This month I decided to participate in Foodie Penpals and today is the reveal. I have to say, this month it was a treat to get a box of goodies!
The penpal who sent me the box of awesome food was April from East, TN. She sent along a wonderful list explaining all the ingredients in the box – I should totally do this myself next time!
Let’s look at what I got, right? I’ll start with what I’ve already eaten…
Lindt hazelnut chocolate candies! OMG, so good. Unfortunately these melted a bit while sitting on my porch, but they were still amazing.
KIND dark chocolate & cranberry clusters. This is amazing! I took it to work so I wouldn’t eat it all at once. I completely love this stuff. I really might buy some more because it’s so good.
Granola Naturals Granola Bites. These suckers are TASTY. It was a chocolatey, peanut butter, granola mix that gave me some energy and satisfied my sweet tooth at the same time.
Blueberry Crisp Clif Bar. Clif Bars are always a winner. This gave me a good snack.
Jalfrezi Simmer Sauce. I haven’t tried this yet since I haven’t been cooking much, but this is going to be exciting to try. Bell peppers + coconut sauce? My favorites.
Suzie’s Thin Cakes. I haven’t tried these either but I want to try them just like April mentioned – with a wedge of laughing cow cheese! Yummm.
Overall it was a really exciting box of food to receive. She did a great job based on what I like to eat and things I would enjoy trying.
If you haven’t participated in Foodie Penpals before I highly recommend it. It’s a fun way to try new things and it’s super fun to pick out foods for other people. Maybe we will even be penpals! Enjoy!
