Since I’m soon to be an Aunt, I’ve been attending a number of baby showers. My little niece is very well loved and I enjoy every chance to celebrate her arrival into the world.
Especially when those celebrations include mimosas and brunch food!
Brunch baby showers are the best!
You get the options of the best drinks: tea, coffee, and mimosas! Despite my name I’ve never been a fan of the other popular brunch drink (Bloody Marys) and always favor mimosas.
I also love the food options that were served for the brunch baby shower. My plate filled up quickly with all the tasty options available to us. I stuck with the protein heavy items like quiche to limit the sugars and carbs consumed, but I did enjoy half a bear shaped cookie – so cute!
Baby Shower Brunch Menu
Here’s what was on the baby shower menu:
- deviled eggs
- veggie quiche
- chick-fil-a chicken nuggets (for the kiddos & adults!)
- sausage, egg, cheddar casserole
- mini muffins with jam
- animal cookies
- sugar cookies decorated with baby shower themes

Brunch Baby Shower Food Ideas
I love, love love the idea of brunch food for baby showers or any type of shower. I’ve attended brunch weddings, brunch bridal showers, and now a brunch baby shower. It’s one of the best meals and I’m such a fan of brunch food for baby showers.
Here’s a list of ideas for brunch recipes that you could serve at a baby shower:
Build your own waffle bar by designeatrepeat.com because it’s so fun to get to make your own personalized waffle! The toppings for the waffle bar could be endless – lots of fresh fruit, spreads, nut butters, syrups.
Swiss Chard and Ricotta Pie with Sausage Crust by ibreatheimhungry.com because this portable brunch food is healthy and low carb (unlike most brunch recipes).
Bacon, Egg and Cheese Brunch Ring by tablespoon.com because this would be so easy to cut into sections for serving a group at brunch and it would look great on a brunch buffet table.
Egg and cottage cheese savory breakfast muffins by kalynskitchen.com because offering a savory muffin that doesn’t have to be piping hot gives you more options. Plus eggs and cottage cheese make this a protein star!
Biscuit bar by weddingchicks.com because a biscuit bar is the perfect brunch addition for a Southern group of ladies… or anyone! You can top the biscuits with honeys or jams or add in proteins.
Overnight Buttermilk Soft and Fluffy Cinnamon Rolls by Averie Sunshine at averiecooks.com because cinnamon rolls are always a hit at brunch.
Blackberry lemon ricotta parfaits by alldayidreamaboutfood.com because fruit and yogurt is an excellent offering at a brunch baby shower and this keeps it fresh and different than just a fruit bowl!
Blueberry, Coconut, and Pecan Breakfast Cookies by stilettosanddiapers.com because healthy cookies for brunch are just as fun as sugar cookies but with a little less guilt.
Donut skewers by Eat Drink Pretty because these donut skewers are super cute stacked up on a dessert table but they are super easy to make! Just grab or make donut holes and put three to four on a skewer.
Blueberry French Toast Casserole by deliciouslyyum.com because casseroles you can make ahead and serve make brunch so much easier. And everyone blueberry makes everything taste delish!
Baked Banana Donuts with Peanut Butter and Bacon by tasteandtellblog.com because here in Memphis this kind of brunch dessert is legendary thanks to the likes and preferences of Elvis.
Orange Sherbert Mimosa by Picklee because mimosas are one of the favorite parts of brunch and this combination is just super fun for a party!
Mimosa bar by designlovefest.com because getting options to make fun mimosa combinations makes things super fun! Mix and match types of juices, fruits, and other mixins for a fun mimosa bar.
There are literally so many delicious recipes and ideas you can use to create a delicious brunch baby shower.
Mmmm! Brunch is definitely one of the most fun meals to eat and to cook!
