Being Broke Inspires A New Weight Loss Plan

March 1, 2008 by Mary

This post may contain affiliate links. Please read my disclosure for details.

Today I sat down to do something and instead at half a box of my roommates Cheez-Its. Hope she isn’t mad.

The bad eating trend continued with the cheerios I am eating now. Snacky, snacky me.

This emotional eating is brought to you by a terrible case of money loss. Just when I felt like I was as broke as I possibly could be, I lost 400 to a scam. On top of losing 400 dollars, I feel quite stupid.

Mmmmm, cheerios. Wait, eating costs money. I must stop eating! :) At least I have found a new weight loss plan.

Fair enough. I’ve been scammed on ebay before and it is really annoying never mind expensive.

Mary, I’m so sorry for your difficulties. You’ll recover, I’m sure of it. Try not to let it consume you. In time, it will not be important, other than as a distant memory of a lesson learned.

    Hang in there!

I empathize with your predicament—so many young people do not eat properly because they have little experience of basic home-cooking methods which can offer very economical choices. I am predicting a return to more home-cooking as a result of this recession—it’s much cheaper than buying ready-meals or processed foods.
    Happy cooking!
