Three words:
Busy, busy, busy.
Between work, my mom, getting ready to move back to New Zealand, and still seeing friends here… I’m insanely busy this week. Blogging is one of those things I want to do but know I won’t be able to fit in. Oh well!
Some fun stuff has been happening lately, like….
Getting tacos from food trucks filming a tv show (I had to sign a release form… so cool!):
Eating at Arcade Restaurant in Memphis with my buddy Chris:
Bike rides for fun and for community:
So many people on bikes out lately which is fun to see. I love Memphis and the things happening here.
Mom update: my mom is doing her radiation treatment stuff this week so any nice thoughts you want to send her way would be appreciated. She just started this morning and has to go twice a day for the rest of the week. She is so strong and awesome!
Catch you all on the other side, when things slow down again, and I’m back in the land of the kiwis!
YUM! Those tacos look amazing!
Sigh…sweet potato pancakes, how I miss thee. What do you get when you go to Arcade?
Sweet potato pancakes. Like every time. I usually get different things when I go to restaurants but I only go to Arcade maybe once a year to take a friend or new to town person and I always get the pancakes. YUM. I have tried the pizza and other things but I’m totally obsessed with their pancakes.
Wow that time went quick with you coming back to NZ already…. sending positive vibes for your mum :)
I am thinking of your mom and hoping her the best. Have a safe trip back to New Zealand !
which food show were you on? hugs to you, your mom & the rest of your family.
I’m really looking forward to the death of this photography trend where people take a decent photo, then deliberately make it look like it was taken with a crappy $5 from the 70’s. The photos looked horrible then, and they look horrible now. How am I supposed to appreciate that taco when it just looks like a faded brown-and-yellow mess? Instagram has set photography back 20 years. It’s done for photography what texting has done for grammar and what Twitter has done for storytelling.
Aw, someone doesn’t like Instagram, do they? Haha.
I’m a professional photographer – I’ll admit I’m probably overreacting! :)
On the other hand, I should probably be *thanking* Instagram. It makes my own photos look so much nicer in comparison to the grainy, washed-out snapshots people are getting used to seeing. ;)
Haha well there you go. Personally I prefer to take good photos with my dslr and do, but lately I’ve just been too busy and instagram is super fast. :)
I’m wondering if I could do it but each time I saw success stories in losing weight I became more determined to do it it’s only that I don’t know how to start.I have heard something about a formula that will give you a gastric bypass effect but no surgery by Roca Labs, is it true?
I really appreciate about your wonderful images like professional photographer. I would learn from you to fill own image to my blog. It’s maybe more interesting.
