I’m slowly processing and uploading all the videos of cool things we did on our trip to Canada and Alaska.
One of those cool things? Visiting Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in British Columbia Canada.
We were told by multiple people who had visited Vancouver or lived in Vancouver that the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park was worth a visit so we went one of the days while we were in Vancouver. I recorded the walk across the bridge to give you an idea of how epic this bridge is.
It’s also really, really high! The current bridge is 140 metres long and 70 metres above the river. the fall off the Bridge is deadly (sadly, I read about this happening to someone). Overall it’s pretty safe but if you are scared of heights like I am then it can be a real adventure overcoming that inner fear.
We walked across the suspension bridge a couple times and then went through the treetop trails and along the cliff walk.
The cliff walk was much less scary! It was connected to the cliff wall it it didn’t feel as high. It also felt much more solid because it was secured to the rock. There was no movement from people walking on it so it didn’t feel as insecure as the suspension bridge.
We took a ton of photos which makes it hard to decide which to share, but here are a few of my favorites from our little trip to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park!
You can learn more about Capilano Suspension Bridge Park on their website.
