Cheese & Garlic Crack Bread (A Must Try Recipe)

Sometimes you find recipes online that are immediate must try recipes you want to cook as soon as possible. This is one of those recipes.

Through a food related Facebook group I recently discovered the blog Recipe Tin Eats. She’s a full time food blogger that makes delicious food with every day ingredients we all have at home already. That blog discovery led me to a recipe discovery I knew I had to try: crack bread.

Nagi’s cheesy garlic “crack bread” recipe is drool worthy, for sure. As soon as I saw that picture I knew I had to try making this myself.

It seemed like an easy recipe but the result was astounding. Cheesy and garlicky bread that pulled apart with stringy cheese and loads of flavor? Sign me up.

I waited until there was a dinner party to cook for so I’d be making the delicious loaf of crack bread for more than just myself. I don’t think anyone knows this, but I love dinner parties as an excuse to try out new recipes that are super indulgent.

And this, dear friends? Is a super indulgent way to make bread for a meal.

The process of making crack bread is extremely easy but it is tedious and takes a decent amount of time.

It took me good chunk of time for slicing my loaves of bread and stuffing them with garlic and butter and cheese. Other entrees and side dishes were prepped and almost finished in the same amount of time.

However, despite the time it took, I didn’t want to miss a single slice of bread so they all got the delicious treatment. Each little crack.

In the end it was worth it! The result was fantastic and everyone loved it.

My food styling and photography definitely needs some work, but I promise this tasted amazing.

We added a bit of cheese to the top at the end to melt down as well since the group loved extra cheesy bread. It pulled apart perfectly and melted in your mouth with a delicious swirl of cheese and garlic. So tasty!

Will I make this crack bread recipe again? You betcha.

I’m thinking this cheesy bread will be a fantastic side item to make ahead of time for parties and dinners and then bake it right before it’s time to serve. Perfecting the timing of preparing crack bread ahead of time will make this a go to for future family gatherings.

If you’ve never cheesy garlic bread like this, you must try it. You can head over to Nagi’s blog for the full recipe.

Enjoy it!
