The past two weeks have been full of mixed progress for me on the goals front. Enough progress to make me happy tho!
On this front I’ve done a GREAT job.
I paid another $1,000 on my student loans in the last two weeks. According to ReadyForZero where I’m tracking my debt payoff, I’m down to just $3,000 now and I can see the end coming sooner rather than later. This is terribly exciting to pay off all my debt!
Let’s call this amazing progress and do a little happy dance.
I haven’t explored many new places recently. I’ve been back to a lot of the same places I’ve been before. At work we tend to eat at the same places all the time and when friends visit they usually want to go to places nearby that we visit often (like Central BBQ).
I did attend a local WordPress meetup after work one evening, which was a new experience with new people. I probably won’t return unless I have specific questions or need help, but it was good to check it out.
Let’s call this a draw and plan to explore new places next time.
I was so close to being under 200 during my last check in.
After I got sick at the end of last month, I let things fall apart a bit. I tried to get back to it but two weeks later I still haven’t found the groove. I didn’t want to check my weight this morning because I *know* I’m over 200.
So I didn’t. I’m not sure what I weight at the moment, but it’s not what I want it to be.
Let’s call this no progress and plan for something amazing next time.
Like I said, mixed progress. I’m so excited about paying off my debt but I’m frustrated with the last of progress in other areas. Sometimes it’s like I’m just beating myself up for no reason, hitting an imaginary wall that I’ve built myself. It gets annoying.
Next time will be better – I plan to make some progress in ALL areas.
