Ah, I love posting an update after eating a cookie!
But I ate a healthy meal and did a crazy awesome workout so a little cookie was in order. Me and my sweet tooth.
Anyway! This is about an update. Not a freakin cookie.
So… if you glanced at my weigh in post (scroll down) you might notice that I was down 1.8 pounds last week.
That weight loss was almost entirely due to exercise. I ate out 5 times last week… which is ridiculous for me. I never do that! But a few friends were in town and it happened, so I made sure I ate really healthy when I did eat at home and got plenty of exercise in.
So far this week (Monday and Tuesday) I have been doing great. I worked out both days – one hour of cardio and about 20 minutes of strength training daily, alternating upper and lower body. That is the fitness routine I had from last week where I worked out Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I also might go swimming later today if its not terribly rainy, so that will be more exercise for today.
I plan on continuing this and working out every weekday doing at least an hour of cardio. Also, I am taking a little trip this weekend to visit friends and we have planned a hike for Saturday. I will try to remember to take pictures.
I don’t have any specific NSVs to report, but I feel great! All this exercise has improved my mood exponentially. Now if I could just get that sweet tooth under control it would be smooth sailing from here. Hehe.
