I’ve been working on building muscle and gaining strength recently because I find strength in women to be empowering. I’d much rather be active and strong than anything else!
My obsession with lifting weights has led to me to research gym equipment and things like squat racks since squats and deadlifts are my favorite lifts. I’d love to have a power rack in the garage so I could do squats and deadlifts at home without having to head to the gym every time.
My search led me to Titan Distributors, a company in my own hometown that makes really inexpensive squat racks. They offer comparable steel squat racks at much lower prices than the competitors I looked at. They seem comparable to squat racks from Rogue but at a more value price point.
They’ve got a few different options available for squat racks on Amazon (this post contains affiliate links that mean at no extra cost to you this site will make a commission.)

This squat rack is just above $300 when I checked the price and has a capacity of 700 pounds. It is completely made of steel and comes with steel j-hooks and steel tubes and a chin up bar. They claim you can use the rack for squats, deadlifts, chin ups, pull ups, etc. It’s definitely a rack with plenty of room where you can do it all.

This squat rack is constructed from heavy duty steel and has a west side hole pattern. It bolts into the floor and you can add on things like dip bars if you want them. It’s obviously not as big and doesn’t have safety bars. If you just need a rack and nothing else then this squat rack might be perfect.

It seems that these squat racks are cheaper than comparable squat racks because they make squat racks without all the frills and fancy stuff other companies use. It seems that value wise these are a good deal and they are highly rated by people that already have them. They also offer free shipping so the cost of the squat rack stays the same no matter where you live. Bonus! (I’m totally a sucker for free shipping!)
After using some rather wobbly squat racks at the cheap-o gyms I’ve belonged to over the years, I’m totally ready for something like this. Super sturdy and won’t move if I’m putting weights on it but won’t break my bank either. The perfect combo, right?
If you’re looking for a cheap squat rack to put in your home gym, these cheap squat rack options might work for you!!
Even better about these squat racks are that they come from a company in my city! I love that there is a Memphis based company working to provide good paying jobs in my community. I always like to support local business and even though Titan is a larger business, they started in the area as a small business and grew because of their awesome prices.
And now, just for a little fitness motivation!
Enjoy your squats!
