Thank you all so much for sharing your plans (or lack of plans) with me yesterday in the comments and via email! I got a lot of good thoughts about things and even have a few new books added to my reading list. I’ve read all the comments and am slowly replying to them. I missed the interaction from blogging so much – thank y’all for being part of my life again!!
Joining Instagram
Speaking of interaction, I rejoined instagram to track my health and fitness endeavors. I thought about Twitter or Facebook but I like the idea of taking a quick pic to track workouts, meals, etc. You can follow along and interact with me on instagram if you want. :)
My first few pictures there:
Starting over.
Pre workout. Gotta start somewhere.
Hanging out at Starbucks with a blonde roast and job applications.
The main theme so far on my new Instagram account is starting over.
So far, so good! I’m enjoying the move back into a lifestyle with less alcohol, more workouts, and more focus. It feels much more like the direction I want to be headed versus where I was the last few months.
Sometimes we have to get off track to realize the right direction is the other way, ya know? Onward toward good things, my friends!
Instagram Fitness Inspiration
One of the reasons why I chose Instagram for my social media channel of choice is because it offers so much inspiration on the topics of health and fitness. There are dozens of healthy living hashtags you can follow on instagram that give you great motivational content to inspire you to live healthier. Some of my favorite healthy hashtags on instagram are:
- #fitness
- Ffitfam
- #beastmode
- #gymmotivation
- #workout
- #instahealth
- #determination
- #fitnessaddict
- #fitspo
- #training
- #fitlife
- #health
- #motivation
- #instagramfitness
There are so many others too! It’s amazing how much content gets generated on Instagram for people living a healthy lifestyle.
Here are some of my favorite inspirational fitness posts from Instagram:
Enjoy the fitness inspiration you find on Instagram! I hope it motivates you to keep going and striving for your own fitness goals!
I’m so glad you are back and doing well! I saved that blog post to look back over all of the ideas too. My problem is that I’m good at listing all of these huge things I want to do better, but the list keeps getting longer and I never actually do anything. So I have to pick only one thing, add it to my daily schedule, and keep doing it until it becomes part of my normal.
So funny… I have your most recent blog post open in a tab ready to read it. I missed you!
I think I need to get onboard with this. I’m so stuck right now and it comes down to my life’s schedule. I need to make some major changes (I’m really not happy with a ton of it right now, no pun intended), and I think starting with less alcohol, more workouts, and definitely more focus is a great place to start.
