I have decided that up until this point I have been soft. Weak. Pathetic.
I have not been keeping track of my progress in a way that allows me to know when I am doing well or when I am doing poorly (like now!).
How am I supposed to know or let others know what is working and what is not working if I don’t even know?
So from now on I will be much better and much more technical about tracking my progress and what I am doing. You will see more consistency and more cold, hard data about weight loss (ooo, graphs to come!)
I have decided Saturday/Sunday will be my weekly weigh-in time. I would choose just one day but my weekends are always different so I will stick with a “Weekend Weigh-In.”
Also, I will start keeping track of my body size in inches, so I can let you know what melts away. More, I am going to track my cardio more carefully… noting time and distance. :) Its nice to see those things add up.
So, dear weight loss friends, be prepared. No more sissy girl weight loss tracking. This is an important thing in my life and deserves important attention, which it will now get.
Bring it on, girl.
I look forward to watching you rock!
I think it’s a good decision because you will be aware all the time and you will not enter in that denial mode.
@ Krissie + Alex: Thanks!
@ Kim: I understand and that is exactly why I want to do it! I think its more about me being more aware of what I am doing so I can improve (hopefully).
Mary,
This happens to me all the time. I will go down and then go up, go down then go up. You just gotta keep plugging away. I know how frustrating it can be. However, we should be proud we keep trying!
