Weight lost is one of America’s biggest problems and biggest money makers! I believe most Americans would admit that they have tried one diet or another in their lives. The problem is they seem to be too hard to stay on and be committed to. Thus people turn to pills that promise to solve the problem, only to make something else worse and only help temporarily on the weight loss. We have turned to medicine to solve the problem of bad life style choices and a lazy attitude toward exercise and a good diet.
The other solution is the surgery, that promises to help you lose at least 70 to 100 pounds. This too comes with its set of challenges, first who will pay for it, second how dangerous is it really, and most of all does it solve the problem forever. I personally know the answers because I have set through the orientation! If you do not have insurance and in some cases even if you do, it will pay for most of it but not the doctor, and if you have no insurance, the cost to you is around 4500 to 6000! There is always danger involved with any surgery, as most of you are aware, and does it last, only if you stick to the 600 calorie a day diet, drink water after water and take all the supplements they prescribe to keep your health up while you lose weight.
I have found through personal experience that losing weight is something you can do on your own if you really want to, and if you eat well and correctly. The He in this post is my husband and the 180 pounds is a true figure, he was headed for the 400 pound mark when we decided to have the surgery, and after setting through the class we found out that in order to have the surgery you have to prove to them that you have the will to lose weight.
