Once my roommate and I decided to do a low carb eating plan together I learned that a ton of my friends are also doing low carb – I just didn’t know! It’s not surprising since many of the more popular ways of eating are lower in carbs, like paleo or Advocare. It’s also one of the ways to eat that always makes me feel my best so I know other people eat this way to feel great too.
Since I’m a big researcher and have eaten in this style before, I’ve got a long list of low carb recipe ideas and meal plans and have bookmarked a ton of great resources. I’ve put in a lot of work to get us ready for our low carb adventure so I’d love to share these resources with you and any one who might want to try eating a low carb diet. There are so many low carb resources out there to make eating low carb easy these days.
The following is by no means an exhaustive list. Feel free to leave me more and better resources in the comments so I can add to the list and keep it growing!

If you get a sugar/chocolate craving, melt some coconut oil and cocoa powder. You can freeze it and then add a frozen chunk of it to a protein shake. Instant low carb chocolate chips.

OMG you’re the best! I totally had a sugar craving this afternoon and was planning to google something like this after work. Great idea!

If you google low carb cocoa crack (aptly named since it cracks apart when frozen) you’ll find tons of low carb dessert recipes.

I really like the keto, frugal keto, and keto recipes subreddit on Reddit! As well as the keto calculator.

There are also a ton of other good links/info in the keto subreddit sidebar.
The blog Inspiralized is great for all the veggie pasta recipes your little heart could want!

I’ve also collected a lot of recipes for low carb/paleo on Pinterest. Free or cheap Kindle books pop up pretty often too, I usually grab the free ones and sometimes find new ideas. Ooh and you can look up “fat bombs” to find more recipes like the one someone shared above with the cocoa and coconut oil.

I can’t believe I forgot about Reddit!! I’ll add these to the post. :)

I did the Whole30 and although hard it was worth it. Have lost quite a few pounds by doing 80/20 Paleo lifestyle (in my case it’s 80 percent paleo and 20 percent wine and cookies)….:) Great article…lots of info..thanks!
