When I posted my list of goals to achieve by 30 once of them was to get the next two Fitbit badges.
I’ve hit the first of those next two badges!
Serengeti Fitbit badge – “You may not have seen wildebeasts, giraffes, or zebras on this trek, but you have walked 500 miles – the same distance as the Serengeti, one of the 7 natural Wonders of the World.”
Despite not being super consistent in wearing my Fitbit Flex, those 10,000 step days really add up, don’t they? 500 miles seems like a lot when you think about it.
Next badge up is Italy at 736 miles. That’s my goal to hit before my birthday in April.
My bigger goal? The New Zealand badge at 990 miles. I think it would be cool to hit that higher number – and former place of residence – for my birthday.
I’ll have to be much more consistent in actually wearing my Fitbit to hit either of these goals. Since my coworkers and I aren’t doing weekly hustle challenges anymore I’ve forgotten about it more often.
In the past few months I’ve missed out on some major long hiking days where I didn’t wear it and days like today where I didn’t think to put it on until most of the day has already passed. Putting the Fitbit on and starting personal challenges with people will have to be my first priority in the morning.
Time to go rack up some more steps!
If you use a Fitbit, what was the lat badge you achieved?!?
