New Workout: Blogilates

December 11, 2013 by Mary

Lately I haven’t been making it to the gym as often as I’d like. I moved a little bit further away from my gym so it’s stopped me from getting there as regularly. Yesterday I decided that if I wasn’t going to make it to the gym I would work out in my living room!

I have workout DVDs but I wanted to try something different. Something quick, fun, and accessible.

I’ve seen Blogilates around the internet and even follow Cassey on social media and on Tumblr. Her workouts popped into my mind as something to try for my workout.

Having never done a Blogilates workout before I didn’t know what to expect! I went to YouTube, searched Blogilates, and selected one of the shorter videos because I wanted a short one if I was just testing it. Below is the video I ended up doing…

Butt Lift & Slim Thighs | POP Pilates Beach Series

This ended up being a great workout! It introduced me to a few new moves that I’ve never done before. I always love finding new moves that are effective.

The day after I can totally feel certain parts of my legs where I clearly don’t work them enough. Between biking yesterday and doing this video my legs got a workout!

I’m definitely going to do more Blogilates videos in the future. I can see why people are fans!

Have you ever done a Blogilates workout?

I’ve never heard of blogilates before! But judging from what you’re saying it seems like a decent workout. I might have to give it a try!

I have done a couple of blogilates workouts. Honestly there are a great workout when its cold outside that can be done without equipment. I did her “Call Me Maybe” legs workout and boy I can feel it at the end of the song.
