Nutrition Smart Scale from Eat Smart

January 21, 2008 by Mary

Originally I found this awesome nutrition smart scale from Roni’s contest to win one. I was so excited about the possibility to win a Nutrition Smart Scale from Eat Smart that I had to post about it and share the contest.

Nutrition Smart Scale

I think that was a great blog contest to win a functioning kitchen scale from one of the best companies that makes scales. I am finding so many awesome weight loss bloggers out there that are also trying to lose weight and live a healthier life! It is exciting to find a whole world of people online that are doing/have done what I am trying to do.

Using a kitchen scale to help measure your food is one of the greatest ideas when you are trying to lose weight. Measuring your meats and fats and items that have more calories is a great way to stay on track and really keep your portion sizes right. If you are trying to eat healthier by watching your portions then this should definitely be one of the tools in your arsenal. A good kitchen scale is priceless when it comes to getting your portions the right size!

Even though the contest to win the scale is over that doesn’t mean you can’t still get one and save over 20% from Amazon!

There are a lots of reasons why I like this particular kitchen scale, or nutrition scale as the company calls it. First of all, I like the look of this kitchen scale. While most scales you have in your kitchen are pretty non-descript and fit in with all your other appliances, this one has a very sleek look with the glass top. I like that it’s clear and see-through and looks very modern.

Another reason why I like this kitchen scale is because it’s from EatSmart. I love this company! I’ve used their bathroom and kitchen scales for years and truly trust the products that they make. It’s a high quality product that is built to last. You can count on these scales to be accurate and to function for a long time – definitely something you want to consider when buying a kitchen scale for yourself.

A good kitchen scale is great for several things. It’s great for measuring portions and sticking to portion control when you are eating. It really helps to know what 4 oz of lean meat really means! This kitchen scale is also good for another thing – baking! Usually that means unhealthy treats but you can also use baking to create some healthy and delicious meals. A kitchen scale will help you measure out your ingredients so you correctly create the recipe each time.

And finally, I love this kitchen scale because I love kitchen scales! I didn’t use a scale for the longest time but finally getting one and using it opened my eyes to the fact that a nutrition scale can totally make a difference in how you are eating and how many calories you are consuming. Chances are you are eating more food and taking in more calories than you think you are. The eyeball method is really hard to do accurately which leads a lot of people to eating more than they think they are eating. With a nutrition scale you will get exact, accurate amounts of the foods you are consuming every time.

If you are looking for a high-quality kitchen scale, I recommend the EatSmart Digital Nutrition Scale!
