I’m back from Puerto Rico and its now time to see what the damage was. I know I walked a lot while I was there but I also ate a lot of food and spent a lot of time just laying around and doing nothing. So I’m not sure how my weight was affected by the trip. It really doesn’t matter since I am now home and ready to get back to the workouts with my persistent friend/workout buddy, but I have to know!

I weigh 246. Damn, thats 4 pounds from 250. What the hell have I been doing? I know, vacations are lovely and all, a time to relax. But how does relaxation help if it further ruins my health through weight gain? It doesn’t. But there is nothing to do now but get serious about things and stop being such a hypocritical-bad-eating-when-should-be-eating-better healthy living blogger. I’m off to the grocery store to make sure we have some healthy stuff stocked here so I won’t eat all the crap my brother has around.
Hope you had a great vacation! Don’t get to hard on yourself. It was vacation. Now it is over and back work. :)

Don’t beat yourself up over your vacation gain. Afterall, it was vacation. BUT, learn from me. Do not prolong it. The vacation is over…..get right back to eating healthy. DO NOT continue the slump. (I did that very thing after my vacation last fall…and I find myself 20 pounds up intead of the 5 I was up after the vacation.)

It was vacation and you enjoyed it. Let it go.
As someone who started where you are now, I can promise you that the number will go down if you do the things you know you need to (and CAN) do. I can’t make promises about where the number will end up, but I do believe in you and your abilities and I know you can make the number go down. Rock IT!
