Procrastination

I really need to start packing.

After enjoying a weekend of birthday and Easter festivities, it’s time for me to start being realistic about what is about to happen. I’m moving back to Memphis for a while and I need to pack up some things to take back. I’m leaving in just over a week and it would probably be for the best if I brought some clothes along with me. You know, because nudity isn’t an option.

I’m procrastinating on packing. Part of me doesn’t want to acknowledge I’m leaving because I’m not totally happy with the decision. I know in the long run it’s for the best because you can’t live without some sort of income. I have to work. It just sucks that I have to work on a different continent than my fiance for however long until I’ve saved up enough for the wedding and to come back to our own place.

Right now blogging and social media are just a distraction from packing and all the other stuff I need to do. I’m trying my best to stay off Twitter and Facebook, but sometimes I just need to write a blog post. Just to get thoughts out of my head…and to procrastinate. ;)

I wish I could procrastinate and work off some stress by going to the gym, but it’s closed! It was only open two hours today and it’s horribly rainy weather here once again. I need some exercise for stress relief so I’m counting down the minutes until the gym opens tomorrow. I suppose until then I will start packing? Maybe? It is physically active at least. Maybe…

I hope everyone had a great Easter! Did you eat lots of chocolate and candy? I only had one tiny egg I got after the Easter service at church. ;)

This is a very very mature choice for your future! I know you miss your family, I can’t wait for you to get back with your loved ones!

Being mature is so lame sometimes! Haha.

Social media is very distracting but sometimes it’s a nice release. Take time to enjoy the last week or so and look forward to the rest of your lives. I’m impressed with the decision because I know it wasn’t easy. I hope there are more cute animations like your proposal video. :-)

Just think the sooner you get it done the more time you’ll have to enjoy your honey and NZ before you have to go.

Happy Easter Mary! Your post made me think about chocolate easter eggs. I actually didn’t have any sugar today at all.

Ugh. Packing. I always procrastinate that. No, I didn’t eat much at all yesterday/this wkend, too busy. On the years, like this one, where I don’t have an easter dinner, I miss it. Miss the ham with raisin sauce, side dishes and dessert. But other fun things happened instead so overall a great easter! I did feel jealous though seeing everyone fb/blog/twitter about eating tons of yummy things!

Hey Mary :) I’ve been checking back to see if you had a new post, but I guess you’ve been busy with packing. Will check back tomorrow.
I wrote this great post, if you have time stop by to check it out. It is based on a recent documentary I saw called “Food Inc”. It was so enlightening for me, and I am hoping more people could see this documentary, I actually posted a trailer to the documentary inside my post. It made me change how I look at conventional food in the supermarkets forever!

Hey Tatianna! I’ve been really busy so my posting hasn’t been as frequent! I’ll catch up soon.

I’ll definitely check that out. I still haven’t seen Food Inc, but I want to!

    Happy Birthday!

I’ve been bagging up tons and tons of clothes and have sizes 8-18 to weed through. I would love to send you some clothes you can use. Some of the stuff I have still has tags on it or was barely worn. Let me know what size you’re wearing these days if you are interested. It would save you from having to pack so much stuff. ;)

Really? That would be amazing!! That would save me some money too since I was going to have to go buy new clothes for work (casual office but still dreading it)! I’ll send you an e-mail. :)

I can’t believe your gym’s crazy weird hours! I would never work out if my gym was like that! Good luck packing for the move. I agree being mature is nooooo fun sometimes!

Yeah, they seem to take every opportunity they can to close. It’s freaking annoying but it’s the cheapest gym around here by far so we just deal with it.

Happy Easter! The time will fly with your work and wedding preparations :)

Good luck with the packing. I’m sure you’ll get more excited once you start!
