It’s a heavy day today. 10 years later the stories can pull your heart out and rip it into pieces again, even if you didn’t personally know the victims of 9/11.
My thoughts and prayers go to all families who lost their loved ones in the tragedy 10 years ago. We will never forget what happened.
The one thing I know is that the best way to honor those who lose their lives is to live the best life you can. By default you are a survivor and you should live as such.
Cherish life because it can be gone in a second. Live for those who are gone. Love those who are still here and surround you in your daily life.
Remember what happened, pay your respects, honor it, and live well because of it. Let our lives always honor the memory of those lost on that day and since then.
