Phew! Last week was a doozy. So many awesome things happened but it also was completely draining emotionally and physically. By the time this weekend rolled around I was so incredibly ready for a little bit of self care and relaxation.
I started with a little bit of nail polish fun! I don’t do anything fancy with my nails but I love a good simple polish.
On Saturday we had some amazing weather so I took advantage of it and went on a long walk with JuJu. I couldn’t imagine being in the gym on a beautiful fake spring day, so we got out workout in on the sidewalks.
The rest of the weekend was spent watching shows on Netflix and movies from RedBox. My roomies and I covered some really good ones: The Butler, Fruitvale Station, Captain Phillips, and Last Vegas. Oh yeah, we watched The Oscars tonight too!
Add in a bit of kisses and cuddles from JuJu and I’m feeling super relaxed and happy.
She is my cutie pit. Haha. :)
And now, my weigh in because it still needs to happen and I simply don’t feel like doing a special post for it because it’s such a side not right now. Last month, 206, this month, 201. Getting back in the right direction.
Life is going to change quite a bit for me now because I’m taking on some new challenges to push myself in different areas. It’s exciting and fun and different and I am happy to be taking risks and doing new things. I’ll share more in the future but for now I need a bit of shut eye to complete this very awesome weekend of self care and relaxation and happiness.
